Co-founder Evan Williams has recently blogged that Twitter the mini blog website has just secured another five investments worldwide. The site which allows users to write 140 characters has an estimated 45 million users worldwide.

Earlier this month a co founder of the company revealed that twitter has now changed its terms and conditions to accept advertising on the website. Twitter carries on going from strength to strength.
